Based in Atlanta with her husband and Grammy-nominated partner Dana Johnson, Avery continues to build a global presence through international tours across Asia, Europe, the UK, and Australia. Kevin Jackson
Baltimore native and two time GRAMMY considered Kevin Jackson is a dynamic guitarist, bassist, and producer who has built a strong presence in the smooth jazz world since 2012. He has performed alongside renowned artists including Sheila E, Wyclef, Maysa, Anthony Hamilton, Julian Vaughn, Cindy Bradley, Marcus Johnson, Jeanette Harris, and Jackiem Joyner. Known for his distinctive blend of original compositions and acoustic reinterpretations, Jackson’s music spans Smooth Jazz, R&B, Contemporary Christian, Rock, and Soul. His growing discography includes the albums Stories in Color, The Mirrored Truth, Full Circle, and Love is Forever, with notable singles receiving national airplay on SiriusXM Watercolors and recognition on the Billboard Smooth Jazz Playlist. His 2025 release “Hangin’ Out” continues to gain attention on smooth jazz radio across the United States.

Marc Evans
Baltimore native Marc A. Evans was born into music, the son of a vocalist and jazz saxophonist. Though surrounded by music growing up, he did not discover his own voice until his late teens while studying at Morgan State University under the tutelage of Dr. Nathan Carter. From that foundation emerged one of the most sultry, smoky baritones in contemporary soul. His smooth voice and passionate delivery have set Evans apart as one of the most distinctive vocalists of the new millennium. After performing throughout the Baltimore/DC circuit as a soloist and with his band Soul Centered, Evans sought to deepen his artistry. He turned to poetry and began performing on the open-mic circuit. As “The Songbyrd,” Evans traveled the East Coast with the poetry trio Da Minista, JaHipster, and The Songbyrd.

Brigette Johnson
Songstress
Brigette "BJ Butterfly" Johnson is an extraordinary soprano vocalist who is burning up the musical pavement with her skillful and masterful sound. She is hailed as one of the leading sought out local artists/background vocalists in the Washington D.C. area.
Her vocal stylings and range has been captivating audiences since 2003. Brigette joined a music production company that allowed her to grow her talents by performing the songs of Motown by singing the hits of artists such as Diana Ross and the Supremes, Martha and the Vandellas.
With a repertoire that spans genres, Brigette has shared the stage, lending her powerful background vocals behind renowned artists such as Ronnie Laws, Miki Howard, Wilton Felder of The Crusaders, Tony Terry, Kevin Owens, formerly of Ray, Goodman & Brown, Gerald Alston of the Manhattans, Shadz of Soul, Shirley Jones of The Jones Girls, to whom she currently sings in her group, as well as Tony Brooks’s Harold Melvin’s Blue Notes group.
Currently, when Brigette is not performing with these iconic groups, she also brings her dynamic energy to her own band, the BJ Butterfly Project, in the DMV area and beyond, in addition to paying tribute to various R&B legends such as Chaka Khan and Teena Marie, delivering unforgettable performances and nostalgic memories up and down the East Coast.

ISAAC PARHAM
Saxophonist
Saxophonist Isaac S. Parham from Baltimore, Maryland is an energetic, versatile, composer and entertainer, who has performed with such artist as The Jacksons, Regina Bell, Dee Dee Bridgewater, Ramsey Lewis, Ron Carter, Cyrus Chestnut, Dennis Chambers, The Chi-Lites, Maysa, Maurette Brown Clark, Marion Meadows, Kim Waters and many others. A versatile musician who has toured Canada, with the show Ain't Misbehavin and throughout the East Coast, from New York to South Carolina, as a soloist and group member with The Nex Levl Band, The David Bach Consort, Fahrenheit, Beyond Blue, Four Corners, and The Rollex Band. He has also recorded with Tracy Hamlin, Marcel Russell and The Nex Levl Band.
